Our habitats are being destroyed

Chirps of nature into dead silence

Our heart has turned into a huge void

Greed and ignorance, we’ve made an alliance

Their homes are being set on fire

Lives devastated for another cadastre

The chapter of how beauty expires

No! This isn't war, this is a massacre

The land where tigers roar

Where wolves howl till dawn

This land cried from blood and gore

Yet our eyes only open when they're gone

Fiery dawn

Across the blue sky

We treat it as bygones

For each species that cried

Greed is a black swan

We say “at least we tried”

They're consuming it until it's gone

Greed and ignorance, they all died.

Wake up before it's too late.
