Society is evolving rapidly
The beating hearts, dull in agony
The hawk chases the sun to end its throe
When will the heart glow? When will the heart glow?
Love exotic to ones eyes
And cheers exotic to the ear
Affection now known as a lie
A mere manipulation of the puppeteer
Value of care has risen
Compassion is running low on stock
Money has many eyes imprisoned
The cries of the child muffled
Cries of the thunder ignored and shoved
Brewing a storm of mental despair
Welfare and satisfaction exploited by the name of love
Society is set to aflair
Ignorance, has the world conquered!
Confused by this phenomenon labelled love
Relationships ruined chasing the happiness that was once altered
For fame, beauty, wealth and success; the framework of our modern day love
Society is evolving rapidly
The beating hearts; dull in agony
The hawk trails to the sun to end its throe
But when will the heart glow? When will the heart glow?
